From 1985, when I returned to Korea for my "final tour," until 1989, I worked as a contractor for the Constant Watch Program Management Office (CW-PMO). The PMO was responsible for overseeing the construction and equipping of the Hardened Theater Air Control Center (HTACC) and Korea Combined Operations- Intelligence Center (KCOIC). CW-PMO was housed in Building 346, shown in the two images to the left. The building was vacated in 2001 and torn down, along with an adjacent building, to make room for new housing for Osan's enlisted force. (by Jack Terwiel) | |
