Transportation
If you are not flying on the MedEvac, round trip airfare from Seoul to Naha is approximately $265. Flights depart every Tuesday-Thursday and Sunday.

The shuttle bus operated by Marine Corps Community Services runs in the evening on Fridays, and during the afternoon and evening on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Taxi fare from Naha Airport to Kuwae Lodge (Camp Lester) is approximately $40. Be sure you find a taxi with a sign that says, "On Post Authorized."

Billeting
For personnel going to the military hospital who will be in an outpatient status for some of the time or who will have someone accompany them, the following billeting information is provided:

Closest to hospital: Kuwae Lodge, DSN 645-9102, cost $30-35 per night, no facilities nearby, but there is a Japanese shopping mall adjacent to Camp Lester.

Next closest to hospital: Westpac Inn at Camp Foster (Marine base), DSN 645-2191, cost about $15 per night, 2 miles from hospital, very few facilities.

Best facilities: Shogun Inn at Kadena AB, DSN 632-1100, cost $10-15 per night, 4 miles from hospital – Commissary, Exchange, Theater available.
